What Mezi stores
To work, Mezi stores on your own computer:
- the list of apps and instances you created, with their names, icons and settings;
- your preferences (language, theme, shared folders, list order);
- each instance's data (the apps' logins, settings and cache), in the Instancias folder you choose.
Mezi's settings are kept in the app folder inside your Windows profile (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Mezi in the Microsoft Store version or %APPDATA%\Mezi in the website version).
Account and Mezi Pro (optional)
Creating an account is optional. If you create one, on the website or in the app, we store the following on the meziapp.net servers:
- your name (optional), email and password — the password is stored only as a hash (scrypt), never as plain text;
- your open sessions (website and app), with their creation date and last-used date;
- your plan, subscription dates, payments (amount, date, discount applied) and the coupons you used.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe and never pass through our servers. We share with Stripe only what is needed for billing (email and account identifier).
Account recovery emails are sent by Resend, which receives your email address only to deliver them.
The app stores access to your account on your computer, protected by Windows (DPAPI), and checks in with the server from time to time only to confirm that Pro is still active. No information about your apps or instances is sent.
You can delete your account at any time under "My account" on the website. This erases your data and cancels the subscription right away. Payment records may be kept for the period required by tax law.
What Mezi does not do
- It does not require an account to use the app.
- It does not send usage statistics, telemetry or error reports.
- It does not read or send the content of the apps you open in instances.
- It does not show ads.
Pricing in your country's currency
To show the price and currency for your country, the website and the app use the approximate country of your connection, provided by Cloudflare (the network that protects and delivers the site) based on your IP address. We use this information only to choose the price shown, and we do not store it.
Internet connections
Mezi only connects to the internet when you ask it to — for example, when you click "Meziapp.net" or sign in to your account — and, while you are signed in, to confirm Pro and show current prices and promotions. The apps you open inside instances connect to the internet as usual and follow their own privacy policies.
The only exception is the version installed from the website: when it opens and every 6 hours, it checks meziapp.net for a new version. This check carries no data about your account or your apps.
Cookies
The website uses only two necessary cookies: the session cookie, when you sign in, and the one for your chosen language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to Windows
To ask where links coming from instances should open, Mezi temporarily changes, for your Windows user only, which program opens certain links (such as discord:// or web pages). This only happens while instances are open, and the original value is restored when they close or when you quit Mezi. In the Microsoft Store version, this only happens after you allow it. You can turn it off at any time in the Mezi Browser.
How to delete your data
Use "Clear data" or "Delete instance" in each instance's menu. When you uninstall Mezi, you can also delete the Instancias folder and the settings folder mentioned above. To delete your account, use "Delete account" under "My account" on the website.
Children
Mezi is not directed at children. The account and Mezi Pro are for people 18 or older, or with permission from a parent or guardian.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page, with the update date.
